1.
Cucumber.
Cucumber
has excellent soothing and cooling properties. It will reduce the redness
drastically and also keep your skin healthy and rejuvenated. Grate 1
medium-size cucumber and apply this on your face and neck. Leave it on for 10
to 15 minutes. Rinse with water and moisturize as usual. Do this three to four
times a week.

Coconut Oil.
Coconut
oil moisturizes your skin and helps in eliminating any dryness and tightness,
thus reducing the redness. Apply A few drops of coconut oil to the red areas of
your face and neck and massage well. Do this before going to bed. Leave it
overnight and wash with cold water in the morning. Do this every day in the
night.
3.
Oatmeal.
Oatmeal
has a soothing effect on the skin. The starch, beta-glucans and phenols present
in this food help in effectively tackling the issue of redness in the long run.
Mix Half to 1 cup ground oats with some water to make a fine paste. Apply this
mask on your face and neck, and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with
cool water. Apply this mask three to four times a week.
4.
Green Tea.
Green
tea has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling and also get rid of
any redness along with it. Steep 2 green tea bags in 2 or 3 cups of hot water
for a couple of minutes and remove the tea bags. Chill this decoction in the
fridge. Soak the cloth in this chilled tea, wring out the excess water, and
place the cloth on your face. Keep it on for five to ten minutes. Do this every
day to get rid of redness on the face.
